Mirror, Mirror on M.I.S.S. Crew

So, recently Gabriella (my partner at M.I.S.S. Crew) decided we needed to jump onto the "documenting your outfits" bandwagon...please believe, I am very aware the power of such posts, we like to have this look into peoples lives and style, and I think it makes us feel connected/closer to the individual...a more personal/intimate connection. Well Gabriella has been keeping up on it for a bit and I recently made my de-boo-boo (that's a M.I.S.S. thang) on Mirror, Mirror last Thursday night when we met up with the ladies of Coutorture for a little Bay Area Bloggers gathering. I pretty much rock vintage on a regular.

Wild Style: Hottub x The Goods!

A couple of weeks ago, local Bay Area Band, Hottub had the amazing opportunity to open for M.I.A. in SF. I had the amazing opportunity to style out the ladies of Hottub for the event. It was straight-up BANANAS from start (4 p.m.) till finish (330 a.m., although the after party went until 5 or 6 in the morn). Loli Pop sexes it up in a vintage fringed t-shirt (500 beads!!!) from The Goods!, vintage animal onesie from Down at LuLu's, Bracelet from Office Tramp and Adidas x Harputs Forum Hi's from Harputs.

Who doesn't love getting stuff in the mail!! I received this bounty of vintage booty goodness yesterday from the homie, Andrew. Super good looks on this amazingness: Raiders biker shorts, O.P.P. b-ball hat and the buttery-est, baller-est Bally loafers eva...in my size. I know, I couldn't believe it either. Andrew and I decided that it wouldn't be a good look to rock all these items together, so I will work them in here and there. You can get your own over at his on-line shop, Still Ill. Some Recent Come-Upin's

Been busy, which is always my excuse for the lack of consistent posts...blah, blah, blah. Currently I'm posted up in NYC, I was critin' the internet outside on the patio, via candle light, enjoying a warm NY night until a large bug fell on top of my hand and I had to move the operation back inside...So, here are some recent finds from the past couple of weeks. From my Oregon adventures to treasure hunting the Bay.

The Joan & David White Collection

I recently put together a mini collection of vintage Joan & David shoes for Marmalade Vintage. Joan & David circa 80's/early 90's are some of my favorites! Italian made, leather lined (or Italian lined as the dork in me likes to call it), and great/amazing designs...all important qualities in vintage, esp. craftsmanship, which helps them to last and last over the years. No flaky, mulching boot liners in these bad boys (you know what I'm talking about!)
